I went to bed to early! I fell asleep watching Sazae-san!! I woke up once at 11 and then again at 2, and then I couldn't get back to sleep.
My night time music didn't work either, and I just ended up thinking about different ways to arrange the songs.
In two hours we're shooting our music video!
I can't wait!
We looked at the story board yesterday - we had a meeting with Fukatsu-san, who will be producing the video, Kaneko-san, and Terry the Third - and I think it's going to be wonderful!
We all have so many ideas, and it's so much fun!
It's going to be really interesting!!!!
I was in Osaka for three days, but tomorrow it's back to Tokyo.
During the past three days I wrote songs, did radio show and interviews and meetings.
Motion City's staff and Keyboard player Jessie are still in Japan, so tonight we went out for yakiniku! It was so good! I love super kalbi!
I feel like I'm powered up now!!
I have to get up early tomorrow! Oh no! It's so late now!
I wonder if Motion City is in the US yet?
It went by so fast. I get all sentimental when I think that we can never get those days back. But I think that right now is great too!
To do that, you need to accept all kinds of changes. But I know it can be done in a positive way. That's what I've always done, after all!
I've got so many periods of my life I wish I could go back to, and I think that's great. And things are great right now.
Oh, Tomi and Leader will be on the radio in Nagoya!
On satellite radio!
So you could all finish up your part time job and head over there.
I sent a photo of my crazy bed head (ET version) to their cell phones to cheer them on.
All I can do is wait and try to keep myself warm.
Spring will be here soon!
The three days we played shows with Motion City were so much fun! On the last day at Osaka, I was on the side of the stage, heart pounding, before SE's 'Little Bitch' began.
Thanks so much everyone!
The after-party lasted until the morning.
People who work in music really do love music. Everyone danced until dawn, as if they could just forget about today.
I just took my first bath at home in a long time, doing the sudoku book I got in the US, and before I realized it, I got all faint. Apparently I was in the bath for an hour.
It made me think that it may be time I had a talk with my other self.
I bet you all should too.
Yes!
As long as we play music, we can always see them!
Motion City Sound Track!!!
I was so glad we got to see them in japan! I'm so glad we got to play with them! Thank you!
Osaka was great too! It was such a fun 3 days!
Today, Tomi and I went to see Cobra Starship play! And we got to hang with them for the first time in a long time!
See? As long as we play music, no matter where we are, we can meet everyone again.
Music is amazing!
Today we played Nagoya with Motion City. It was so much fun!
I was so happy, today just brought back so many memories.
When I got back to the house in Osaka, I looked at the photo we took with Motion City during Warped.
It looks like they'll jump out of the photo at any moment. (LOL)
There's a jam session with Motion City on the DVD too, and it's so Punk! (LOL)
Everything I experienced, everything that's burned into my mind, meeting Motion City...
I'm so glad to be alive!
At the Ashigara rest area, I was wandering around, and I heard a voice say, "Please do your best", and I thought it was someone on their cell phone, but when I got back to the car, it turned out it had been a fan who is coming to the show in Nagoya today! I bet it was that person! I should have turned around~!
Saki, Leader and I went to Harajuku. Not really to shop, more just to wander around.
Clothing stores, drug stores, book stores, they're all treasure troves of ideas. I don't mean specifically how ideas form, but I think that they help activate the areas of the brain for imagining things.
You can lose an entire day just walking around and looking at stuff. How wonderful!
Tomorrow we've got another show with Motion City Soundtrack! And it's time to say good bye to the Leo Palace apartment we've been in for about a month. I just finished cleaning it all.
It was so much fun!
Tomorrow we've got another show with Motion City Soundtrack!
The after-party the other night was crazy!
NAGOYA PEOPLE! And Osaka People too! Wait for us, okay?
Today Leader and I went to Roka Park to play our instruments.
It's Spring, and it's so warm.
We played in this mysterious square, saying "It's ZEPP!", and just went nuts.
We had kids and dogs staring at us. I'm sure they thought the two of us were very mysterious.
Once it got cold we went back to the house and watched the special edition DVD of 'THIS IS IT', which I'd bought and hadn't gotten a chance to watch yet. We both cried.
When it was over, we started dancing.
I'm such a dork, but I spent a really happy time.
I'm so glad I got to spend the day with Leader!
I'm alone in the room right now.
A night since we had that crazy night last night, I'm had a conversation with Justin from Motion City Soundtrack.
Tomi and Leader were gone when I got home. I wonder where they went? They're probably just killing time somewhere.
Yesterday was so much fun. Remembering Warped, I'm so glad we could play together with them two years later.
And I'm glad we got to play with the BEAT CRUSADERS! During rehearsal we all went crazy to 'HIT IN THE USA'. I was happy because I listened to that song all the time when I was in school.
I can't wait for Nagoya!
I'm writing a song now. The right side of my stomach hurts, which isn't too fun.
But the song is coming along well!
でもいい感じ!
